Cape Town offers a temperate sunny climate enabling you to shoot most of the year. Mid summer days are 14 hours long and temperatures ranging from 15 – 35 deg. C.

Cape Town’s climate is Mediterranean, with warm, dry summers and mild, moist winters. During summer (October to May) the temperature on the coast generally ranges between 15°C and 35°C (while inland it increases by approximately 3-5°C), although recent summers have seen temperatures in the City Bowl soaring to over 40°C. In winter (May to August) it ranges between 7°C and 18°C.

The season starts getting slightly chillier around April. The lovely autumn colours draw people out of town to forests in Newlands and Constantia, as well as the Winelands.
